A few days ago, Powerstar UPS won the bidding of the UPS project of National News Publication, Broadcast& TV General Bureau with the innovated UPS double-line power supply solution and effective technology services. That means Powerstar UPS gains access to National News Publication, Broadcast& TV General Bureau and provides comprehensive, safe and reliable uninterrupted power supply system for its Center Data Rooms.
In order to ensure the Center Data Rooms of National News Publication, Broadcast& TV General Bureau have a secure and reliable power-supply system, and to ensure the network equipment could operate constantly and stably, the power-supply solution of UPS double bus system is adopted based on the UPS capacity in the Center Room and its load quality as well as the detailed evaluation on products’ reliability, availability, advancement and expansibility in accordance with the principles of safety, energy consumption, environment protection and manageability. Each circuit consists of a Powerstar EP 200KVA (3in/3out) tower UPS, 64 pcs 12V201AH lead-acid batteries that are valve regulated in the front and are maintenance free, so that the loading capacity of each UPS makes up only 86.7% of full load working, thus to meet the requirement of dual power supply.
When the double bus modular UPS system works functionally, the UPS in line 2 shares the load power supply. When the UPS in line 1 doesn’t work, the UPS will be automaticly offline by performing “optional tripping”. At this time, the rest UPS will bear the full load of 2 UPS, and continue to provide high-quality power supply through battery inverter for the user. The application of the system will contribute to stable, efficient, safe and 7 × 24h uninterruptible power supply, and it would be a model system on the latest power supply for data center computer room.
